SF Wraparound Receives Economic Inclusion Award
The San Francisco Wraparound Project was honored with the Economic Inclusion Award at the Excellence in Partnership Awards hosted by the Center for Community Engagement. This award was given in recognition of the Arborist Apprenticeship Program, a collaboration between The San Francisco Wraparound Project and Friends of the Urban Forest. The Arborist Apprenticeship program strives to address unemployment by providing participants with arborist training. This training includes landscaping, pruning, and planting but also provides skills in leadership, professionalism and customer service which participants can use in any career field. Additionally, the program empowers participants as they are able to physically give back to their communities. We are truly honored to have been recognized with this award and thank our funders for believing in our vision. Wraparound Director, Dr. Catherine Juillard accepted the award.
